Using layers of data, the plaintiff's lawyers could show court events, meetings between the Suffolk County prosecutors and the informant, meetings between the FBI and the informant, and meetings in which Suffolk County prosecutors, the FBI, and the informant were all present. Rolling over any date highlighted who attended the meetings. Clicking on a date brought up the documentary evidence supporting the data for that date.
March 28, 1968 was the only date in which Suffolk County prosecutors met with the informant by themselves. Shown visually, it was clear the FBI controlled the informant and the prosecution.
